The Bio21 Molecular Science and Biotechnology Institute (Bio21 Institute), is a multidisciplinary research centre specialising in medical, agricultural and environmental biotechnology.  Based in Parkville, the project features 5 levels of open laboratories, workspaces, offices, breakout areas, circulation, coldrooms, chemical preparation and team zones.  The site is located in a sensitive precinct and was bound on all sides by operating facilities.

Quadric was engaged to design, manufacture, and construct Optima Glazed Partition Systems throughout featuring Revolution 100 double glazing, Affinity single glazed double doors hinged in Microflush frames with PET Dry Joints.  Pressurisation of glazing and doors to suit PC2 Lab standards was maintained along with acoustic levels in excess of RW45.
