EXPRESSION OF INTEREST. Shell QGC Project 275 (Brisbane Office Accommodation)

Quadric Pty Ltd has been shortlisted to tender for the Principal Contract of the QGC Shell Fitout Project in 275 George St, Brisbane, and is seeking Expressions of Interest from appropriately qualified and experienced trade contractors to participate in the subtrade tender.

The purpose of this Expression of Interest is to inform the market of the impending release of the tender planned for the 18^th of December 2018 with subtrade tenders closing on the 5^th of February 2019. Commencement on site planned for mid-March 2019 with completion 30^th of November 2019.

The works are circa 10,000m2 over 7 levels including reception, meeting rooms, 600 workpoints and associated areas and facilities, specialised collaborative working environment areas with high end AV / IT requirements, and upgrades to lift lobbies and amenities.

A primary outcome for the project will be to deliver ‘Goal Zero’ with regard to Shell QGC’s HSSE ethos and Quadric’s ‘Beyond HSEQ’ best practice mission. Local south-east Queensland industry participants will be looked upon as favourable, as will majority-owned Indigenous entities.

Subtrades required include (but not limited to):

• Finishes: Painting, Floor Preparation, Tiling, Waterproofing, Film, Carpets & Vinyl, Access Floor, Window Coverings.

Subtrades are to submit to project275@quadric.com.au by 7^th December 2018 including a cover letter detailing their reasons for proposed inclusion in the subtrade tender along with their company profile. Companies who have been awarded a place on the subtrade tender will be notified by email by the 14^th of December 2018 followed by the invitation to tender via estimateone on or about the 18^th of December 2018.

Quadric has always prided itself on meeting the needs of best practices whilst streamlining the immediate project need for our customers; and from this ethic the Quadric Special Projects division was formed.

It is fitting that a division with an over 10 year history of meeting customer needs now get the opportunity to build upon these successes and take the idea to the next level.

Special projects specialise in cutting through the noise that can stand in the way of delivering particular types of projects, be it fast-tracked, limited design detail, works outside the box, or simply a customer that wants a more personalised service.

Often the starting point for their projects is the client has broad project objectives, but no clearly defined scope of works. The team then works with clients to develop the scope of works to meet all project objectives, including financial ones.
