Meet Dr Gustavo De Cerqueira – Gustavo is a speaker, investor, passionate scientist and current CEO at Cluster Biotechnology. Gustavo has started two successful startups in the past 5 years and continues to discover new microorganisms with commercial value, conducting high-quality peer reviewed R&D work from the Cohort Labs. Gustavo the joined the #CohortCommunity in 2020 when the state-of-the-art scientific laboratories opened at Cohort Innovation Space.
More than a co-working office, COHORT is a collaboration space powering innovation and growth for the Health and Knowledge industry on the Gold Coast. Cohort is a home for incubators, entrepreneurs, accelerators, mentors and investors and building a stronger entrepreneurial community on the Gold Coast. Quadric partnered with Economic Development Queensland, Cospaces, Space Cubed Design, and Savills to develop, design, construct, and deliver the Cohort Innovation Space.
Just ten months after opening their doors, the innovation space had already begun their first expansion with the construction of three PC1 and PC2 scientific lab facilities Design and Constructed by Quadric in collaboration with Arklab. The Cohort Labs empower bio innovators and scientific entrepreneurs by providing them with access to state-of-the-art labs and office space to help them accelerate new ideas and research to market.
