BRISBANITES get set to raise your glasses with the opening of a flash new overwater bar and restaurant in the city offering views to South Bank.
Will & Flow will sit above the Brisbane River in the CBD – just a champagne cork pop from the QUT Gardens Point entrance to the Goodwill Bridge.
It is the first off-site venue for Treasury Brisbane, away from their popular casino and hotel complex along nearby George St.

“It’s obviously part of the Queens Wharf redevelopment and part of the revitalisation of the area towards the Goodwill Bridge,” said Treasury Brisbane chief operating officer Kelvin Dodt.
“It will give Brisbane a little taste of what’s to come with what The Star and Treasury will be delivering in a few years time.”

Named after the Goodwill Bridge and flow of the river, Will & Flow will operate as an all-day venue from Thursdays to Sundays, offering a grab-and-go range of bites and coffee and smoothies from 7am, progressing into lunch, dinner and drinks.
“Of a morning it’s a really popular spot with cyclists and joggers so we thought it was a good opportunity to provide them with a nice rest spot,” said Mr Dodt.
“Then on a Friday, Saturday, Sunday it will be the perfect venue for lunch or dinner.”
The menu is still a work in progress, but Treasury Brisbane executive chef Steven Jones is set to hero local Queensland ingredients and put a seafood slant on the offering given its glamorous waterside location.
The venue is also tipped to be one of the prettiest spots to grab a drink in Brisbane, thanks to festoon lighting and tropical planting, with most of the bar’s 45 seats on a large deck outside looking across to South Bank.
Most of the seating for Will & Flow will be on an outdoor deck overlooking South Bank.
“BSPN Architecture is doing the design and we gave them the brief that we want something fresh and modern and inviting and relaxed,” Mr Dodt said, indicating it would be a great spot for parties and events, with a capacity of 70 standing.
Parking and a taxi/ride sharing drop off zone is nearby, or guests can simply pull up in their boat, with the space boasting its own pontoon.
Will & Flow is due to open on November 20.
