Brisbane 2012 Saturday in Design provided the stage for the transformation, from the Steelcase Inspiration Office furniture showroom into an ethereal dream space.
Combining the enthusiasm and next wave of design talent from QUT students with Woodhead’s project planning skills, a little know how from Quadric, and a can do solution from Hireach, the result was this BiD dream becoming a reality.
The dream field was created utilising the simple tools of sting and sand, clips and card to create a canopy of overhead “leaves”. Each leaf provided a canvas for participants to record their dreams.
Reminiscent of Tibetan prayer flags, gently whispering their wishes to the wind, the result was a spectacular dream space.
