Police-Citizens Youth Club vision is “Enhancing Queensland communities through youth development”
Queensland Police-Citizens Youth Welfare Association mission statement is –in partnership with government, community, business and families – achieving excellence in youth development by encouraging participation in recreational, sporting, cultural and welfare programs.
PCYC facilitate and encourage participation in sporting, recreation, cultural and welfare programs with an aim to improving the lives of individual members and the development of local communities throughout the state.
PCYC’s are a great place to come and socialise, play sports or learn something new. We offer affordable activities for all ages, ranging from fitness, martial arts and sports to dance classes, music, and bike safety education. We also organise various seasonal events such as dance parties, festivals and sporting competitions.
Our community facilities include indoor and outdoor sports areas, areas suitable for different types of activities, before and after school care, and youth spaces – dedicated areas for young people to hang out in a safe environment equipped with video gaming, pool tables, even DJ equipment in some clubs.
In 2012, the Quadric Project Donated $360 to the Disadvantaged Children’s Christmas Circus.
