Indigenous Liaison Trainer Northern Territory

A rewarding career opportunity exists for an INDIGENOUS LIAISON TRAINER with a leading multidisciplinary building company specialising in commercial fitout, refurbishment, and construction,

with supporting divisions in the manufacture of custom joinery and providing ongoing building maintenance and service to client facilities.

With head office in Brisbane and satellite offices in Darwin and Sydney, Quadric employs over 50 direct staff, 50 contract staff, and over the last 30 years has specialised in interiors generally up to $15million.  Our project portfolio includes fitout of corporate offices, retail, higher education, hospitality, and airports. Our target profile is directed at design significant fitout works, which may include a degree of complex structural new build / refurbishment work.

The position will entail the guidance, training, mentoring, and support for a small group of staff employed under our Indigenous Apprentice employment program. The applicant will require a sound knowledge of building practices, and would ideally be trade qualified in either Carpentry or Plastering.  Tertiary and/or trade qualifications relevant to the role are favourable, but on job and external training in the form of Indigenous Liaison and Frontline Training and Assessment will be provided. We are searching for a professional with well-rounded construction knowledge, a passion of quality, and a interest in socially responsible business.

Remuneration is subject to suitability of candidate but includes a salary and allowance.
