Innovative Solutions for Restricted Access Projects

At Quadric, we have the attitude that nothing is impossible.  We see it as our role to make ideas a tangible reality.  Whether it is a client-led operational need, a consultant-led design requirement, or a contractor-led imposing site condition, we work collaboratively to come up with solutions to achieve this aim.  Refurbishing spaces within occupied CBD buildings often requires with out-of-the-box solutions.  On this project at QUT’s Garden’s Point Brisbane campus, a specialist laboratory room needed to be manufactured under off-site conditions but its final location was to be on the roof of the existing building.  Without the surrounding space available to gain effective reach for a crane, we employed the use of one of the largest available helicopters in southern hemisphere to move and position directly into place.
